St. Peter's Schaumburg

What a contrast between last Friday's meet and today.  Unlike last week's cloudy and rainy day, today was a perfect fall day: cool, crisp air, beautiful fall colors, sunny.  There was no way to improve upon it!  It must have inspired our runners.  Several of them finished with a personal best to date.  And our top runner earned himself a 5th place ribbon.

Congrats to everyone on a great effort.

Our first finisher for the team finished 12th place overall and had a new personal best.   Well run!

Our sole runner in this category ran the mile in under 7 minutes--his first time ever!

Schiller Park

We had a late start while we waited for the rain to clear.  Rain wasn't in the forecast, but obviously "mother nature" doesn't care what the weather man has to say about her.  Thankfully it cleared out rather quickly and the sun shined for the latter part of the races.  Everyone put forth a great effort and we had several runners finishing in the top 10:  9th place, 6th place, 5th place and 2nd place!
